GIFEx

With the recent fad of having a customized PC environment, there are many programs for configuring and creating your own icons, backgrounds, and other things related to the desktop.

GIFEx is a simple program for viewing, editing, and converting icons into FIG, ICO and BMP formats.

With GIFEx you can create individual images or animations (frame by frame). Additionally, you can convert among GIF, BMP, or ICO by clicking the location and setting the destination you prefer.

The program supports two size types: 32 x 32 (appropriate size for standard icons) and 40 x 40 (commonly used for bordered animated GIF icons). In addition, GIFex incorporates many tools such as paintbrush, geometrics shapes for complete editing, and customization of your own images to which you can even add text and effects.
